Karmic relationships are a big part of our spiritual evolution. We can experience karmic relationship with anyone. A child, parent, friend, lover, even someone you work with.
All karmic relationships are gifts that teach us about ourselves, God, and our union together. Many times, karmic associations are difficult and challenging because, of emotional up’s and downs. The emotional roller coaster is a manifestation of the psychological and emotional imbalances within each person. The imbalance is normally caused because, the relationship is lacking on a spiritual and mental level but, there is a strong physical and emotional connection.
Most of the time, karmic relationship are established- because, we see something in the other person which we believe can help us overcome our own karma and/or perceived limitation.
Not all karmic relationships are soul mate or Twin Flame relationships.
Before we incarnated-we made a conscious choice to come together with another soul so that we can share, support, learn, forgive, grow, heal, and resolve past life issues. In short to expand conscious and spiritual awareness.
There are several defining characteristics of karmic relationships. I have listed the most obvious ones below.
1.instant familiarity and recognition of each other on some level, especially when there is no way you have ever met before
2. Strong, and often unexplainable attraction
3. An intensity to the relationship, either positive or negative
4. A tendency for the relationship to become the most dominant
5. A deep emotional or physical connection, often that has an addictive quality
6. An ability to really press each other’s buttons
7. An inability to easily walk away regardless of how toxic
8. A feeling of the need to stay, so that you can work through or resolve something
9. Codependent
Usually karmic relationships serve to bring people together for a definite purpose. Once the purpose has ben fulfilled the intense karmic connection is usually broken.
It is important to know that we have many soul mates. Soul mates are usually a karmic based relationship. ‘Karmic based’ means that we have karmic debts or lessons to learn from the other person.
Usually they have as much to learn as we do. If you have karma to resolve in a close relationship, it is easy to get sucked into a whirlpool of repetitive past patterns and behaviors, you are compelled to do because, they are familiar.
Making new patterns takes much more effort – and can bring unsettling change. It could mean having to look at yourself in a new light, which can feel daunting and emotionally taxing.
I have defiantly had my share of souls relationships. Some were short lived and wonderful, while others were a chaotic, hot mess from the beginning- Never the less, they all helped me spiritually evolve enough to trust myself and know exactly what I need and want in all my relationship– and those gifts can’t be bought, and have brought me the most satisfaction and fulfillment to date.
