The “Holy Spirit” is a phrase in the Bible used to describe the mystery and power of God’s personal presence. The fruit of The Holy Spirit are the attributes and character of Jesus Christ as well the active presence in our daily life. When we follow the Holy Spirit’s lead instead of our own self focused desires, it produces the fruit.
We learn from the bible that these fruit are not picked. The fruit of the Spirit represents a physical awakening and manifestation of a Christian’s transformed life
An awakening is an experience, that should be based on a foundation of biblical truths and principals such as the Fruits of Spirit.
Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control
Love gives freely without expecting anything back. To be motivated to be of service the way Jesus was. Joy is an emotion that is independent of what’s happening in your life. Joy works wonders when we focus on Gods purpose for the events which unfold within our lives — instead of on good and bad out comings.
Peace is absent of stress. It’s a feeling of wholeness and freedom which comes from knowing that God controls the events of the day. Patience is the ability to persevere and endure suffering from life experiences without the need to retaliate.
Kindness is to adapt to the needs of others. Goodness reflects the character of the Divine. Faithfulness is to not abandon your walk with God and gods people. Gentleness is not weakness. It corrects with kindness – and Self control is to let go of worldly possessions and desires- but –to choose to be lead by the Holy spirit.
God is Spirit, and those who worship him must worship in the spirit of truth- John 4:24
In closing – The Fruits of Spirit are expressed in our Genuine Spiritual passion which comes from our hearts but it is manifested in our emotions, lifestyles and how we choose to treat people
